Sometimes something comes along just like Waterlog did over fifteen years ago with a bright fresh approach…admittedly I can’t read it so I can’t comment on the editorial content, but being made aware of it by Pink Heron (who has a great balanced approach to carp fishing) I feel this is many swims away from the UK carping dross! In English please.
Old school meets new school…if only my Flemish was a little better!

I agree, it does look more interesting than UK fishing mags (Waterlog aside of course), apart that is from the piece on/by Martin Bowler.
Little Boots & I spend a lot of time taking the piss out of him when we watch repeats of Catching The Impossible.

I’m ok with Martin Bowler, he tries to add and extra dimension to his writings in the Angling Times by being a little more descriptive. I think Catching the Impossible series truly showed his passion (and some great fish) although the support of Bernard Cribbins made the programme work for me.

Oh Lord no – Cribbens was even worse – strange how people’s tastes differ.
I commented here about Bowler & Cribbens & wasn’t alone.

As an aside I once saw Cribbens at a Rugby League Challenge Cup final (Leeds vs London). He came on the pitch & sang “On Ilkley Moor Bar Tat” & “Maybe It’s Because I’m a Londoner”. Both went down very well. What a trooper.
